The Turkish media’s propaganda against Greece continues, this time with the presence of S-300 in Crete. Yes, the CNN Turk he even went so far as to talk about installing nuclear weapons on the island.
“Perhaps they are advanced thoughts, but there are questions if nuclear weapons will be placed in Crete. Since the target will be Russia”says a CNN Turk presenter in a conversation with the Turkish military analyst, Mete Yarar, the content of which is reproduced by SKAI.
The analyst, for his part, emphasizes – citing it Turkish-Libyan memorandum – how “a possible point of conflict will be Crete, as the agreement we have signed with Libya coincides at this exact point”.
“Before the S-300s, they went and militarized the islands. First one gun, then two and five. Later one island, two islands and they continued. This was not enough for them, they went and claimed sovereign rights in islands whose sovereignty has not been determined” the analyst added.
