Turkey opening new doors for defense exports, ending dependency on other countries, says official
Turkey’s MILGEM warship project has brought immense honor and prestige to the country, according to a Turkish official.
The national warship program is Turkey’s greatest defense industry export and not just a mere sales project, said Esad Akgun, head of the state-run defense firm Military Factory and Shipyard Management (ASFAT).
