More than 1,000 servicemen dismissed from Turkish Armed Forces

Over the past seven months, 1,076 servicemen have been dismissed from the Turkish armed forces within the fight against the Fethullah Gulen (FETO) terrorist movement, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Ministry of National Defense.
Reportedly, 624 servicemen dismissed from the Turkish Armed Forces, served in the army ground forces, 107 servicemen - in the navy and 345 servicemen - in the air force.
Turkey will continue to actively fight against the FETO terrorists, infiltrating the Turkish Armed Forces.
Earlier, the Minister of National Defense of Turkey Hulusi Akar said 15,153 people were dismissed from the Turkish Armed Forces as part of the fight against the FETO terrorist movement. He said the purge in the ranks of the Turkish Armed Forces will continue.
Fethullah Gulen and his supporters are accused of the July 16, 2016 military coup attempt in Turkey.
A group of rebels attempted a military coup in Turkey on the night of July 16, 2016. The main confrontation broke out in Ankara and Istanbul. More than 250 Turkish citizens were killed, over 2,000 people were injured, the mutiny was suppressed.
