The world of We Are What We do is not an ordinary world. It is a rare, vintage, retro, nostalgic world.
We Are What we Do is an experience bilingual blog.
The idea behind the name came from Aristotle’s line: “We are what repeatedly do. Excellence then is not an act, but a habit.”
We are our choices. The stable choices and the ones we repeat. And this blog is about sharing all these great choices. All these unique things I find all around the world.
WAWWD is the natural place of all those who love travelling, who adore colours, being different and being true. The WAWWD is in love with real, talented idealists doing great things primarily for others; who love extending their hands, smiles and more importantly their heart to those around them.
The WAWWD could be a movie of Luis Buñuel, a vintage Emilio Pucci kaftan dress, a song from Yves Montand, the Monogram of Elytis, a small vintage family treasure, the kiss of Humphrey Bogart and Audrey Hepburn in Sabrina, a book from Gabriel Garcia Marques, a taste from an organic market, a Parisien Dalloyau macaron, a Robert Capa photo, a trip to the Chora of Patmos, a long walk barefoot next to the Aegean sea together with Aristotle, the taste that lingers on the lips from fresh tomatoes with feta cheese, olive oil and kneaded bread from grandma, the Balkan sounds from trumpets emanating from the festival of Guča.
We are What we do is the gargling laughter of friends, a trip around the world. It could be a hug, a kiss, a confession, a family member. WAWWD is "philoxenia". The colours, the tastes, the sun of the South that embraces the East, the West and the North in a sunburnt kiss...

And all these jobs have something in common.
