This is not unusual in politics: A politician pretends to be something he is not; step by step, he ups the ante to sound convincing. Soon enough, he sees that nobody believes him or takes him seriously, and then he opens his mouth and spits out something so extravagant that makes everybody start laughing! Such is the case of Stephanos Kasselakis, who, for many months and years, pretends to be someone he is not: he pretends to be leftist, but he also projects the image of a successful capitalist; he writes as a “Reaganite” but he works for the Biden campaign; he pretends to be a Christian, yet nobody has seen him in Church the last 30 of his 35 years. And so on… It’s hard to keep up with too many conflicting personalities. You cannot be all things to all people…
