Turkey is a supermarket of crimes against humanity! Those who speak of “genocide” must first look in the mirror

Σχόλιο Στρατηγού Φράγκου Φ.:
Αναγνωρίζουν την Γενοκτονία των Ελλήνων οι Ισραηλίτες και τολμούν να θέσουν θέμα Κωνσταντινούπολης..

When President of Turkey dares to say “genocide,” millions of other accusers stand before him: Armenians exterminated, Pontic Greeks marched to death, Assyrians erased, Cypriots uprooted in 1974, Kurds crushed. They stare back with hollow eyes burned into history.

In northern Greece, in the city of Veria, the Grigoriadis family – Pontic Greeks expelled from Anatolia – hid a young Jewish girl named Sterina Tambouh. Her parents were deported to Auschwitz, and she herself faced deportation. The family gave her a new name, “Marika”, hid her, and raised her as their own, at the risk of their lives. Eighty years later she met their descendants and said her life – and the family that followed – was owed to their courage. A small story with a great truth: peoples who endured genocide, expulsion, and persecution did not forget their humanity, and in the moment of trial chose to extend a hand.

Against such memory, Erdogan’s words last week at the UN jarred: “Before our very eyes, genocide in Gaza has continued for more than seven hundred days… This is not a war, it is an invasion, a genocide, a policy of mass slaughter”. Reckless words that turned a binding legal concept into a disposable tool. And they came from the leader of a state that has become a supermarket of crimes against humanity – accusing Israel of the very crimes Turkey committed then and commits still today.
