Your statement that Phillips, the father of Alexander the Great, participated at the Olympics Games was correct. But as you know by now, only Greeks were allowed to take part at the Olympic Games.
Therefore, associating the name of Philips with Slaves, who appeared at Balkans 1000 years later, is a gross historical mistake to say the least.
If this mistake is a real one, them you own an apology to the Greeks and history in general. If the mistake was "by design" then you place your employer, NBC, and your name in a very embarrassing position questioning their credibility.
If you don't offer an apology, then I regret to advise you that we believe that your mistake was by "design" for reasons you and NBC knows and the rest of us can guess.
